VFM studies, as a discrete area of examination, can be used regularly by the public sector to confirm that any contract let continues to provide Value For Money. VFM studies are normally conducted on minor or major works projects and reactive maintenance costs, where prices quoted by any contractor are not necessarily established in the original Contract rates.
